There are many ways you can become involved in the work of the Interfaith Council of Greater Sacramento. For example:

Volunteer to work on one of the projects or programs of the ICGS -- or volunteer to organize a new event.
Serve on a committee advancing the work of the ICGS.
Become involved in a community program with which the ICGS works.

Opportunities may include:

work projects
interfaith dialogues
committee work
office support
community organizing and promotion
involvement with RCCTV
grant writing

The Village At North C Street has volunteer opportunities at the following facilities:

Safehaven Ministries           (The Word is taught)
Loaves and Fishes               (800 per day being fed)
Mustard Seed                         (Daycare)
Women's Empowerment     (Work Placement)
Clean and Sober                    (Help for addictions)
Safe Ground                            (Human dignity; shelter)
Anneke's Haven                      (Pets shelter)
Maryhouse                               (Women and children)
Carol's Place                           (Psychiatric help)

Event Sponsor Procurement volunteer:
ICGS is looking for someone who could find sponsors to help fund our various events. Please contact Carole Kight at carole@awardexperts.com if you or someone you know is interested in working with us in a volunteer capacity.
